Vermont and New Hampshire: Family & Friends in the New England Mountains

Part of Michele’s family moved to Vermont years ago to connect with Sister Sheri’s husband’s (Jason) family. Michele has been able to make it up for a few celebrations over the years but this is our first time as a Diller Family. Having a home on wheels offers such advantages! Camping is a thing in many states but New Englanders take it to another level! Jason and his family have RVs and they can make a campground home for a weekend… so we did! This is the last weekend of “the season” and most campgrounds close for the winter after a fall foliage “peak” or a Fall Festival… just a bit earlier than Halloween. Kamperville is one of those campgrounds so we took on the Haunted House, did a hayride through the woods, played some basketball, did some trick-or-treating and spent some quality time around the campfire with family! Even Nephew Devon got away from his Nursing duties for a bit to join, which was appreciated. Proud of you Devon, 22 and working as a Nurse already is quiet and accomplishment 💪😎😊 Cousins also got some quality time and Leanne (Devon’s Sister) is quiet the young baller on the court so she showed off some of her skills with Jayden, as well as making sure Cousin Robert was welcomed at all the events 😊 Peyton got some stunt biking in amongst the horde of kid bikers around the property… Peyton drew some attention, he’s getting pretty good at wheelies 😉

Now for some family time at Kampersville!

Sisters and Daughter/Niece :)

Aunt Michele giving some love :)

Campfire time is some GOOOD TIME!

Basketball by lantern light!

Sisters :)

Basketball star in the making!

Lets get some pumpkin guts!

Fun to get some camp time in with family… great way to chill under the fall leaves :)

We are still trying to figure out what that look from Robert means?

Devon must have asked Robert an important question.

Uncle Jason: OK Captain, it’s time to get some candy!

Candy is ready with some added cuteness to share.

Someone doesn’t want the candy to be passed out… someone feed her quick!

After some quality time with family, its across Vermont and into New Hampshire. The route crosses multiple ski towns that are a few months away from operation.

Some beautiful rivers, foliage and quaint little towns.

Fall festival slowed us down going through Woodstock, VT but it did look like a fun time.

Quaint was the repeated theme with covered bridges over a few different rivers.

A church with some history in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. Some history up here in the hills!

We heard there were about 5-6 of these mega resorts in the NH mountains at one point in time and now its down to the Omni Mount Washington Resort to hold the standard.

After 1 night at a neighboring camp we make it to Glen Ellis, a Jelly Stone Campground where our friend Mary Ann is wrapping up her season of Workamping.

Little girl time catch up for Mary Ann and Michele.

Mary Ann was our Boss at Palm Beach Atlantic and it’s fitting to reconnect after seeing many of our PBA colleagues and some students across the country during this trip. Mary Ann was a great VP and so thankful for that time working with her but even more appreciative to have her as a friend these many years/miles down the road… literally!

Jellystone brand has Yogi Bear as their ambassador. The campground really is an outdoor park and wired for some family fun!

McDonalds in NH are a tad different…

Some time with friends and family and we’re off to Maine but first some gas and putting Peyton to work on the windshield with Robert supervising.
